Enroll in UC's 403(b) or 457(b)

UC's 403(b) and 457(b) Plans make it easy to plan and invest for your future. Employer-sponsored plans like these are among the most effective ways to develop good savings habits.

Here's how to get started saving for your future.

How to enroll in the 403(b) Plan

Get started in the 403(b) Plan in about a minute by visiting UCRSPenroll.com. The Easy Enroll tool will guide you through the short enrollment process.

How to enroll in the 457(b) Plan

Go to the plan's website, www.netbenefits.com.

  • Click the link for the 457(b) Plan. The system will guide you step-by-step through the short enrollment process. (If you prefer to talk with a representative, call 1-866-682-7787.)

Enter the amount you want to contribute.

  • Choose from one of the preset amounts.
  • If that’s too much, do what you can. Even small amounts can add up over time.

Choose your investments.

  • UC offers the UCRSP Funds, a range of funds designed to help meet your needs, no matter what type of investor you might be.
  • Not sure where to invest? Consider the UC Pathway Funds. These all-in-one funds let you make a single fund choice based on the year you expect to begin withdrawing money from your account. The funds provide asset re-allocation based on the fund's target date, growing more conservative as they near that target retirement date.

Note: The investment risks of each target date Pathway Fund change over time as the Fund’s asset allocation changes. Assets held in the Pathway Funds are subject to the volatility of the financial markets, including equity and fixed income investments in the U.S. and abroad, and may be subject to risks associated with investing in high yield, small cap and foreign securities. Principal invested is not guaranteed at any time, including at or after their target dates.

Don’t forget to name a beneficiary for your account.
